Ufff

It wasn't easy - to create this website - it's not even nearly finished, but it's beginning to look like something...

It all started about 2 years ago when I first bought a domain  -  clear skies ahead - took me a long time to come up with the decent name that would indicate everything I wanted. It shows that the future is bright, that behind the next corner there will be a new adventure, that there is no point worrying, that when you are traveling there is always the horizon where the next adventure lies.

Then came studies : Digital Media in GMIT - one of the subjects I have is Applied Digital Media and in order to pass the subject I had to submit a fully working website...

The third ingredient was my fascination with traveling and adventure - I don't feel alive without new experiences, the only time I feel happy is on the road - yesterday I saw two backpackers - you should have seen my face - full of good envy.

It's not that long left though - soon I'll be on the trail again - this time it's BIG - at least distance wise. That's why there is a section waiting to be filled with photos...it's Papua New Guinea.

...and thirdly : photography - there is hundreds of cliches about taking photos : capturing the moment, freezing time, blah blah... For me it's another kick, another buzz; mastering a technical device, one's own abilities and observing progress.

Taking photos in any condition, being prepared to capture what I find interesting no matter what are the light conditions or the subject speed...The second empty section on this website is underwater - I'll try to mix two of my passions - scuba diving and photography.

So now I am here - whee is the life going to take me?  For now my motto would be :

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in the broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, shouting "Wow! What a ride!"

Maybe I’m just resistant to change. But I don’t care for the new drag-&-zoom feature in Photoshop CS5. I believe Nature intended for you to drag a zoom marquee to enlarge an area of the photo, and it’s an old habit. In CS5, the same drag zooms the image enormously, as if it’s pulling it [...]
